About Us:

EIBEA is made up of business teachers from the Eastern region of the State of Illinois. We are an affiliate of the Illinois Business Eduction Association. Our purpose is to promote business education and to share instructional resources and teaching techniques with other business educators.

Current News:

The EIBEA Fall 2012 meeting will be held at Lake Land College 5001 Lake Land Blvd. Mattoon, IL 61938 on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 in Webb Hall Room 081. The speaker will be Scott Rhine from Lake Land who will show some newer technologies being used and our newly remodeled business division building.More details coming soon. * CPDUs available for EIBEA meetings
The EIBEA Spring 2012 meeting was held Wednesday evening March 28th at Richard's Farm in Casey, IL.

Yearly Dues are $8.00 for teachers or $2.00 for Students/Retired Members payable at the Fall meeting. Please bring exact change to a meeting or mail a check for dues to the EIBEA treasurer if you did not pay them at the fall meeting. See the officer page for contact information.
EIBEA's Teacher of the Year Award for 2011-2012 had no nominees. Be sure to nominate a deserving business teacher for next year's award which will be given at the Spring meeting -see the awards page for more info.
The 2012 IBEA Fall conference will be November 7, 8, 9, 2012 at the Marriott Hotel in Bloomington-Normal-see the IBEA News page for more info.
